I believe in this country, this is my home land. I believe this country has a great future if we work together to make it that way. In this clean green land we have a choice of how this country is run, though time and time again around 80% of New Zealanders vote for one of the two parties that we have all been complaining about.
It's time this country took the next logical step in our maturity and become a Republic, after all, over the last 10 years or so that is what we have been working for and we are 90% there already. We just need that one, last push.
"What's wrong with the Queen?" I hear you ask.
Nothing, last I heard she was fit and healthy. As head of State, however, she's a figure head.
That is just one of the reasons I became a member of the Republic of New Zealand Party (RONZ). While relying support for men's rights I received a phone call from Kerry Bevin, the leader of RONZ asking me to stand for the Party as a Wellington Central Candidate. I agreed and the rest is history :) My portfolio includes Technology, Child Support and Revenue.
